DIY Wedding Guest Perfection
I am ready for wedding season! Send me the invitations! But, if it's not open bar, I won't be able to make it. Teehee. I mean, wouldn't this dress be absolutely perfect to attend a romantic springtime wedding? Yaaaas!
Before I go any further in to this post, let me apologize to you. This fabric is sold out and I can't find a similar anywhere. If you happen to know where something similar is, comment below and I'll add it to the post.
I originally purchased this fabric from Gorgeous Fabrics, but it has since sold out. I'd also raved about it in my Gorgeous Fabrics Fabric Haul. I know Mood used to carry it, but I couldn't find it.
This fabric is a white double knit with the pink lace as an overlay. It cuts and sews absolutely wonderfully and it was a pleasure to work with.
I completely self drafted this dress from a bodice and skirt block I'd created. So I did not use a pattern. Everything was done from my measurements. If you'd like a tutorial on this dress let me know in the comments!
I styled it with my favorite clutch bag of the moment that I purchased from DSW on clearance. It's still on sale for $25. I've linked to it at the top. My shoes are a repeat of my favorite Jessica Simpson pumps.
What's your wedding guest style and what do you plan on making for the spring to make you the most stylish wedding guest in the building?
