Fashion X Dallas
Hey! I hope your day has been beautiful thus far. This past weekend, I attended the Fashion X Dallas Fashion Show finale show and it was soo nice. It was held at the Fashion Industry Gallery in downtown Dallas.
I went with my best friend and we got to shop some Texas designers in the gallery before the show. There were some beautiful jewelry designs that I was very tempted to purchase. I grabbed several cards to shop their websites and pick out a couple of favorite pieces.
I also ran into Keisha from Keeping Style Affordable. There were several other bloggers there whose faces I couldn't match to blog names, but I recognized Keisha immediately.
We also mixed and mingled with other attendees and designers to talk about their businesses and products. It was very inspiring to hear that all of the ones we spoke to started out their businesses in their homes.
On to the fashion show! We sat in the front row and got a full view of the amazing collections. There were mixes between everyday, wearable fashions to couture designs. There was even an 11-year old designer who showed her collection!
The models were great, I definitely enjoyed their walks. There was one model in particular who almost made me jump up. Her walk was THAT fierce!
Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway!
The S2 Collection was one of my favorites. It was a black and white theme, his show was energetic, and the models danced at the final walk. Werk! Charles Smith II is the designer and he actually won an award and a Bernina sewing machine.
I wanted to snatch this skirt so bad! How fly is this??
There were definitely more designers, but I did not take pictures of every single look. I really just wanted to be present at the show and take it all in, which I did!
This was my first fashion show, but will definitely not be my last!
