Linen Button Down Tunic Daphne Pattern Hack
Omg I am so happy to be back to blogging. I have actually missed it!
Let me tell you, busy does not even begin to touch my life this year! But, I am not complaining by any means!
I haven't sewn much in the past few months because I've been spending that time with self-care and spending time with my family. The last pattern collection launch took me out!
I'm not quite sure what the hell I was thinking launching 5 patterns at the same time, but it was an experience to say the least! By the time I was done shipping out all of the orders, I needed a break!
About This 'Fit
I absolutely adore tunics because they're stylish, simple to style, and super comfortable to wear. I decided to make two simple changes to the Daphne pattern to create this look.
I simply skipped the breast pocket and added about 22 inches to the length of the top at the waist to create the tunic. Besides skipping the pocket, there was no changes to the construction of this tunic.
As I was trying this on, I knew I'd make at least two more variations of this to add to my wardrobe.
My fabric is available here from Fabric Mart and is THE BEST linen I've ever sewn with. I purchased it some months ago along with a yummy navy color that I can't wait to whip up.
